I just hooked up a Mechanical Autometer Fuel Pressure Gauge on my 02, does anyone know if the gauge jumps around a lot. Sometimes its between 30-35, but sometimes it jumps up to 60 and stays. And that's not when it's floored either. Anybody know if this is normal?

usually, if there is any strain on the engine, I've noticed that my fuel pressure rises a little bit......never had it go from the 30's up to the 60's without flooring it though.
I know somethings wrong because it's staying at 55-60, a friend of mine told me that the engine computer will raise fuel pressure when incoming air is to hot. What could be causing that? It might even be a bad gauge.
