I have an 86 GT with 120,000 miles on it and it's a 5 speed. It has 3.08 in it now and I was going to change to 3.73. If I'm already spinning bad now with the 3.73 won't I even spin more. I run on street tires and don't plan on running dr's. Will I see lower times at the track? How much ?

Definitly,I just got 3.73's from 2.73's.Believe it or not it actually spins a little less, because now instead of just sitting there waiting for your tires to grip, the car is pulling alot harder so your not just smoking up the tires,I love em!

The 60 ft.... check this out!! 9.55s at 1.31 60 ft, 9.73s - 1.48 60, 10.25- 1.76 60, 10.92 - 2.06 60 ft!! SOoo... from 9.55 to almost 11.00s just in 60 ft times!! Oh yeah... they are all the same car and engine combo!!
Get the gears and kill that 60 ft!! Oh yeah ... that is also why a hugh HP car runs slower on the street than a moderate HP car !! tires and hooking!!

Just me.........................

With my combo (see sig and include to be added stuff), should I go 3.73 or 3.55 this spring? I don't want to just spin and I run on street tires. I want gears, just not too much, and I do alot of highway driving. Thanks.
