That makes 2 votes for Sunbeam Tiger; the name on the valve cover was a dead giveaway..They originally came with a 260 small block 2 barrel carb rated at 164 HP. The car had insufficient brakes and tires for that kind of power, but they were great conversation pieces. Later models had a 289, but the same tires and brakes.
Production stated in 1964 and ended in 1967 when Chrysler bought out Roots who made the Sunbeam Alpine, the forerunner of the Tiger.
What car in the 60's had tires and brakes, that matched their horsepower, not many. Back then springing an extra $50.00 to $100.00 for upscale brakes, was seen as a waste of money. A lot of customers didn't even order heaters.
