Having Problem With My Tranny. Help

it has a grind rattle sound after I put it in first gear and drive it only lasts for a second but in second gear it whines but in third gear it whines really loud like i have a blower on the car, Whats the Deal? Help.

First gear sounds like a synchro going bad. As for the rest, have the tranny shop check them out while you are in there. It may be nothing.

are you sure the noise gets louder when u shift or does it get louder as u increase speed check that out first also check to see what rpm and if the soud pitch changes from driving the car hard or driving regular
