Headlights A Bit Lame

Hell yeah! 2000 grit followed by mothers. This turn signal lens looked worse that the headlight to the right when I started. Looks new now. Also wiped it with Meguires UV protectant.

I sanded some headlights on my daughters car with progressively finer grits then coated with rattle can uv resistant plastic clear coat and finally buffed with Macguires 105 & 205.

They came out great and after about a year I am starting to notice some haze coming back.
This is on a car that stays outside 24/7.

There is a seller throwing NOS headlight parts on eBay from time to time. The outer markers and turn signals are fairly reasonable, it's the headlights that are crazy money.

I'm a pass headlamp away from a full set

I got the oem lights cleaned up and back in. Big improvement in visibility. Still need to aim them. I’ll do that tonight. Here’s pics of lens after 2000 grit wet sand, then several applications of mothers.

Buy the Wearever Gold brake pads next time. Best brake pads I ever had. Also down with the FIJI water bottle. I mean, FIJI water is disgusting, but the bottle can be refilled at least 500 times without getting all dented up.

Those pad were from a way old project. I liked the box so I keep all the spare bulbs I collect in it.

The Fiji water was abandoned by someone else. I didn’t buy it. Instead I poured it on my headlights while sanding.
