Heater Hose Replacement--'67 with A/C

I will be putting my heater core back in the car Saturday and replacing the heater hoses. I currently have the heater hoses laying in the floor and can't remember which hose connects to which outlet and which hose is supposed to connect to the control valve (or whatever the little vacuum pump is). In the shop manual the diagram only shows the heater hose routing without that little gizmo up by the firewall.

I took pictures of everything except the heater hoses before I took it apart. Now it's been a few days and I can't remember which side of the heater core they connect to. Thanks for all the help so far.

The hose coming out of the intake manifold is zip-tied to the return hose before/after the choke clip, and connects to the valve inlet. The return hose comes up the back of the engine, through the clip on the choke, and down the front of the engine to the water pump inlet.
