Has anyone come up with a good way to tow one? Not talking a trailer or dolly, but with a tow strap or chain? Ive thankfully never had a break down, but if I did, not sure how Id tow the dang thing home?

Divide the load by using a couple of straps linked together, and then put a towel between them and the front bumper. I've done this on damn near every car I've owned without any issues or scratches.

No kidding, Mob.

'93 Honda Accord (bad alternator, & front axle cv joints numerous times)
'89, '91, & '92 Mustang (various reasons, though I'm not sure if I ever had to tow the '89)
'97 Vette (blew up the tranny within 500 miles of a rebuild - they re-did it for free)
'90 GMC Suburban (countless issues)

The one exception: '95 BMW 318i (never had to tow it... yet)

It was pretty funny looking. It was my old 87 and I had put a engine in it and luckily was still in the neighborhood when the tfi module took a crap. It seemed a little overkill to use my f-250 to tow it a couple blocks.

If you tell me you were wearing an AC/DC t-shirt and were drinking a tall boy while towing it home, you will make my horrible day that much better.

Thanks, and Gig 'em.
