KB question

I am thinking about running a KB 2.2 Flowzilla on my 89 5.0, but i really want an intercooler or aftercooler. I really dont want to fab anything, so I was thinking that a vortech aftercooler would fit. Anyone seen this before? Anyone think it would work? What options are out there besides water/methanol injection?

Thanks,
Greg

No it will not fit. The Kenne Bell mounts directly to a GT-40 Lower intake. There's no room to get a heat exchanger between the KB and lower intake manifold.

You'd have to remove the boosted manifold from the blower, cut a hole in it to mount a bypass pipe, block off the boost pressure to the manifold outlet and route a bypass from one side of the boosted manifold, through an intercooler, then back into the other side of the boosted manifold. It would require a SIGNIFICANT amount of custom fabrication.

The other side of this is that the Flowzilla is MORE than capable of splitting your block in two just the way it is.
