I know this topic has been discussed extensively. I've had the leather trim insert (passenger side) repaired by a reputable upholstery shop, its been 3 month since the repair and it has again unglued.
I am planning to have it repaired again and install tinted windows to help control the heat in the car.
I live in Miami, FL and I am aware that the heat and humidity is a contributing factor. Has any member on here heard of a new repair method or aftermarket addition for this issue?
The upholsterer did use commercial/industrial grade adhesive with my 1st repair and he did express some concerns because of the quality of the material and the lack of a real edge to fold the material over.
I have considered buying a new or used pair of door panels but what guarantees me it will not happen again.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
