Lights dimming at take off

I have the 130alt upgrade and my lights still dim when I take off from a stand still. I thought it was the stock alt that was the problem, but that is not the case. I upgraded the wires and all, got a new battery even though the one I had was still good, and don't know what else could be the problem. Help pleeeease!!

What RPM range do they dim? Is it only from a stop or anytime you accelerate away (like if you're at 25 mph and you stand on it)?

Did you add a 4 guage ground? How are the rest of the grounds? Have you had the alternators output checked?

Are you running underdrive pullys?

Also ensure there is no belt slippage.

Yes I did the grounds too, had the alt. output checked cause I thought I bought a bad one but it checked out ok. And I'm running under drive pullies but not on the alt.

A voltmeter is handy if you are familiar with how to use it to find bad connections. Measure the voltage drop across a connection while the engine is running and all the accessories are turned on. More than .5 volts across a connection indicates a problem.
