mach 1 shocks?

my buddy just bought a new suspension and says that i can have anything off his mach 1. i just bought an 89gt and the tokico rear shocks off the mach l looks like they will fit but thought i wuld ask if anybody has tried to fit them?

I'd say they should. Last I checked, the springs, LCA's, UCA's, gears, driveshaft, quads, struts, and shocks are all pretty much interchangable from '79 to '04 models, except for IRS Cobras. (Someone beech-slap me if I'm wrong. )

They dont have as much travel but they will bolt right in.
