Mark 8 4.6 (worth it?)

Im looking at this auction

depends also what are you working off of?

If you have a 5sp to bolt up the block to you'll need to get cobra heads/intake cause the short runner design on the lincoln was designed for an auto, also have to look for a computer from a cobra..

I don't think it's worth it.
My parents have a Lincoln Mark VIII and I'm sure my GT can smoke it.
Of course, the Mark VIII is heavier and is an auto.
And...that engine already has 115k miles on it.

to rebuild it is rediculously expensive. but it will make killer HP. i am finished solving problems with my 5.4 swap, but if i had it to do over again, the low miles
MACh1 motor is the way i would go. bolt in, retune and finished. but to rebuild... no way.
