mass air conversion HELP

I put a 80mm c&l for a 1996 GT in mine ad the 1995 electronics fit perfectly, but it would not work straight out of the box. More air was coming in than what the computer expected (because of the larger diameter of the C&L) so it ran terribly.

I was able to make it work, though, because I have a tweecer and over time, I figured out the values for the MAF transfer function that made the computer happy with it.

I still have it and have been using it now for a year and I am happy with it.

If you have (or get) a C&L, even for a different year, you can usually get a tube calirated for your car and injectors.
