Did a search but did not get quite the answer I was looking for. Ok I have just come a cross a old style Edelbroke Performer 5.0 intake manifold for $200.00. SO I bought it and I am deciding whether to install it on my mostly stock 1993 105K mile 5.0 Mustang, or hold off and use it on my new 331 stroker motor I am presently building in my garage on an engine stand.

Questions

1. How much horsepower if any will I pickup with just bolting on the Performer intake. My mods are listed below...

2. Will it improve my 1/4 mile time or just bog me down...

3. Is $200 a fair price for this manifold...

4. Does any board member run a simuler setup if so what are your first hand experiences...

5. Is it difficult to install.

6. Should I also install new fuel rails, Fuel Pressure Regulator, and new 24 pound injectors...

Thanks all!!!

Should pick up anywhere from 10-25hp, every car is different. The extra power will help your 1/4 time. Its a pretty good price, install isn't that hard and you shouldn't need new rails but i would do the injectors since you'll have to pull the old ones anway.
