Hi All,

Hi everyone. Excited to have my car in my geographic location! I just had my first car shipped to me two weeks ago - a '68 Mustang coupe, 289, bench seats, candy apple red with a vinyl top. 91k miles. I bought it when I was 16, (1988) - drove it until mid 90's and then went over seas. It was garage kept until a few years ago and then under a cover.

It is in remarkably great shape. Was worried when it was on its way. Starts right up, no cracked paint or vinyl, no rust. Guess I got lucky. - Will be using the forum seeking advice and expertise on how to get the paint to shine again and get the swirls and scratches out. Have information overload from the Internet and trying to figure out the best way to proceed.

Posted before and after pics - got the vinyl top back up to par.

I wouldn't know I've never had her over 145 , but yeah on a serious not it does get up in go in a hurry, the only pitfall of it, is the factory exhaust. I want to find something that opens her up, for those that are not ford fans only should know what I'm talking about here, but I would love to get a similar sound of the Challenger SRT8. That car sounds like a beast, I was between that and of course the mustang when purchasing a new car. My choice was made easy because when I was finally ready to pull the trigger the SRT8 was sold
