Newbie looking for some help

Hey everyone-

I'm new around these boards, but I'm looking forward to being part of the community, so hopefully I can offer some help at some point! I live in the POrtland area and I'm looking for some good shops to take my 67 mustang to. Any good mechanics that anyone out there can reccomend? I don't need a rebuild or anything, just some minot work under the hood. Also, what about interior places (carpeting, headliners, seats, sound deadening, etc...) Anyone have any favorite places they like to go if they don't have the time to do the work themselves?

honestly the interior work is really easy on those 67 mustangs. I'd have pros do the seats, but as for carpet and everything else, you can do it. It is really easy.

As for places to take the mustang in for some work, I don't have a preference since I'd rather learn and do it myself. This would be good car to learn things on your own for lifetime experience.
