pip swap problem???

k my car won't start sometimes when its cold and people tell me its my pip now i have a code thats saying pip so change it no problem........ so i pull the distributer out and notice at the bottom of the shaft its got a crack in it ahhhh right at the very bottom were it goes on the oil pump so who knows how long its been there but i can't get one in til friday going with msd but i have a appointment to get 373 in the rear tomorrow so my question is whats the odds of me having a problem driving it 45 minutes to the shop to get the rearend put in???

if it's been like that for a while then restab the dizzy and nurse it to the shop. Don't waste your money on a May Suddenly Die dizzy. a remanned one will work just fine and won't leave you stranded. sure it's shiney but as they say "chrome won't get you home"
