PISTON RING QUESTION

I'm doing a cheap rering on my 93 302. How do u know if it takes the 1.5mm or the 5/64 rings, or are they so close that it dosn't matter? What should I use? Are there certain years that take the metric versus the standard rings? THANKS!!!

I think you mean 1/16",1/16",3/16" ring set....5/16 would be like putting a metal watch in there,lol.

If its ford I dont think it was metric that year.

edit: the other common size is 5/64",5/64",3/16"
