question on balancer

just got an sfi balacer its a cat i heard bad things bout them but if its sfi doesnt that mean it passed the certification and its ok.i only paid like a 100 or little more dont remember but it was cheap.can someone clear this up 4 me

I personally would not trust anything from CAT, you can get a Pioneer which is SFI for about $70-75 more and it is a much better unit.
