Rear Granada Disc e-brake adjustment

I installed a 9" disc brake rear from a Granada. I hooked up the e-brake cable and tried it out. It pulls fine and the bracket on the discs even move but the brake never engages. Is there something I am missing. I have rebuilt calipers and made a cable that attaches to the original Granada cables. I've heard that these are a bear to adjust so any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a versailles too, I have heard that the rear brakes dont work worth crap so im going to just do an explorer swap. but for you, i think that your brakes arent adjusted correctly, you have to manually adjust them unlike modern calipers. use a pair of needle nose pliers in the holes on the end of the cylinder to turn in and adjust it to the point where the brakes are rubbing on the rotor then try the e brake, It wont work great but it should work
