I sent a little oil from my car into blackstone laboratories and for $20 they give you a breakdown of everything in the oil.

Check it out.

No antifreeze! . All other categories are under too. Im happy!

hey that's really cool...how did you find out about them? How much of a sample do you need? Where are they located?

Ill get that information for you tomorrow. I gave them about a half a cup of oil.

That's sweet! Maybe send them a sample of raw oil as well as the used oil to see what your engine is putting into it?

Agreed with Danny. Terry can analyze the numbers if you ever need to have it done (he used to atleast).

You can send in a VOA as well as a UOA if you desire.
Do you run a free flowing air filter?

www.blackstone-labs.com/ all the diesels guys i know send there stuff there, you request a kit, when it comes, you send it back and it is like 20 bucks or something

It an oil/filter/grease forum with some much knowledge it's not even funny. That's how I heard about Blackstone labs, I just assumed you found them that way too.
