I'm going to fab up some adapter plates so I can get my aftermarket seats to fit. Do you guys think 1/8" steel is thick/strong enough? I want to make sure their safe if I ever get in an accident, etc. My dad keeps telling me 1/4" but I thinking that is unnecessary. I'm worried about it raising up the seat to high since im already 6'4.
I figured someone on here would know if 1/8" would be good enough or not. Thanks
