Service manuals

Giving the Vin# gets you closer to what you have since most of the manuals out there are general like Haynes and Chiltons they are usually a range of years. In my case the 94-95 is specific and the 96-98 will have changes which ford improved upon and well Fixed the issues that plague the 94-95. When I did the swap from my 95 to an 02 engine the Haynes manual was actually the best one I could have used because it had the range from 94-04 and I could easily see what the changes were and work from a better perspective. If I was staying with 95 specific though, that same manual would have hindered me because it would not have been detailed enough. I have never looked at the dealership for a specific manual though. It is worth a look to see what they can offer you. Worst they can say is that they cant help.
