Silver coupe rebuild pics

Well, heres some progress pics of my silver coupe. I posted some pics of it about a month ago. Since then I've made a whole bunch of progress with it. Ripped the entire drivetrain and suspension out, assembled the long block of the new engine (408) and installed about 80% of the (completely) new suspension. I'm scrambling to get this car out this year, but time is getting shorter and shorter.

Anyway...on with the pics.

Pics of the long block assembled. I plan on painting the bottom end/pan ford blue, keeping the valve covers and heads silver and the intake manifold/intake tubing/accessories will be black.

Here is my rear end. 8.8 with stock axles, fresh rebuild and 3.55 gears. I spent about 5 hours cleaning the living hell out of this thing and painting it. Any guesses as to how long it will last behind the 408? :D

Front suspension in the car. I would have had it all bolted up to the spindles by now, but I tried using the 4 cylinder spindles that came with the car and they don't work, so right now I'm in the process of taking the spindles off my 5.0 donor car. And as you can see, the battery leaked all over the driver's side of the engine bay and rusted it...I'll be fixing that when i rip all that god damn wiring out for the new harness.

Latest pics of the rear suspension...I now have the panhard bar in place and the rear end is up as well, but I haven't nabbed a pic of that yet...sorry :(
