sounds like its dying HELP!

After a long period where my stang has been off when i turn it on it takes about twice as long as normal to start and shakes like its gunna die! this all happens right after i install my Ebay CAI the only things i can think of...

1. I heard something about the IAT Sensor not being aligned with the airflow? ill check it but... could this cause it?

2. I had to buy a small hose from pep boys for the breather tube because my stock tube didnt reach to the engine Could this be it?

3. i used the filter that came with the CAI... could this be it?

Im pretty sure everything is tightened... i checked all connections 4 times

Take some pictures and post them. Also, disconnect your battery and let it reset the ECU. If you didn't do that, it still thinks that the airflow it's getting now is too much for the engine. Need anymore help, IM me at SUCCdrummer.
