Speedo not right

the factory speedos are always off a little. do you have gears in your car. i mean other than the stock rear end gears.

if no then you can try this using the WDS (dealer scan tool) it has a punch pad too sleect custom gear ratios. fine tun it untill you get the speedo dead on.

but before you do that check the PCM PIDS too make sure the computer is reading ti wrong. if it is reading 42 on pids when you are going 42 and the speedo reads 50 then leave it alone.

Not if you went from say 3.27's to 3.73's. It would read higher than what you are actually going. My brother-in-law went from 2.73's to 3.73's in his 95 GT, and his speedo read close to 100 on the freeway when you were actually going around 70.
