Strange new sound from clutch

Hi, guys. I've got a '98 with a 3.8L and a 5-speed. In the past month or so, I've noticed that when the car is cold (and I live in Phoenix, so when I say cold, I mean like 60 degrees), the clutch makes a noise kind of like a cross between a scraping sound and a sucking sound. It shifts fine, and when the car warms up, the noise stops. I've noticed no difference at all in the way the car drives or shifts other than this sound. Any idea what it is, and is it something I need to be concerned about?
