Im saving up for an engine swap, the lease is up in a year and I am gonna buy the gt, but the motor is gonna have approx 150000 miles on it, if not more. When i buy it, its going in the garage and becoming my project car (van will be paid off and wife wants a jetta). My idea up till know was a stroked 2v longblock from dss. As i still have plenty of time to change my mind, im still looking for other alternatives. I saw an add in mm&ff where jegs had complete 4v swaps, computer, engine, wireing, tranny, the works. I have started to wonder what would be the better thing to do? They both cost the same, about 7k. DO the 2000 cobras come with forged internals? also, will my exhaust components bolt up to the 4v headers? any ideas which would be the best bet? I also want to go with a supercharger in the future, if that makes any difference....What do you guys think??
