Thats because the foxbody is too sexy for articles. Fear the foxbody. You cant mess with them on the street because you have no clue what is under the hood. Is it a stock 302? or is it a 427 stroker?

This is probably why.....

We also wanted to keep these cars rather new; given our younger demographic, we didn't want to feature cars older than the youngest drivers out there, so anything made before 1991 was immediately disqualified

And since from that point on, the SN95's were more plentiful that the Fox's, it's probably why the Fox was excluded from the list. Not to mention if you'll look in the cars "What's Not" section, you'll see that they referred to the 2000 Mustang as part of the "Fox" era as well.

What's Hot: It's a Camaro, meaning that it has a huge 5.7-liter V8 that can take the car from 0-60 in less than 6 seconds. It's also a Camaro, meaning that one can buy everything from Camaro-specific fuzzy dice to bolt-in rollcages to turn-key race motors by just visiting a website or two.

What's Not: It's a Camaro, meaning that you'll have to put up with a non-stop barrage of mullet jokes. It's also a Camaro, meaning that chicks won't be impressed with this car - but old dudes named "Dale" will be jocking your ride non-stop.

hey there still 1991-1993, and the 5.0 has just as much as a rep (if not a better one) then any of the cars on the list. The say the foxbody platform came out in the 1970s while its true 1979 sounds a bit better, i guess its no help with ign being import biased

realize the fox platform doesnt require any stupid websites publicity.. we advertise at the track.. and at the dynos. Besides, i'd rather the fox become smaller based hobby.. rather then everyone and there brother wanting to buy them.. now it's extremely difficult to find an unmolested 5.0 or even a 4 banger for that matter..
