ok, so the general consensus seems to be covering the matrix with a black vinyl strip. also, legal tint in austin is 35% I think, so i may have to pull a few strings to get 20% all around.

anyone ever had their windshield tinted?? buddy of mine at work had his done at ~40% and he said it was great b/c people couldnt really see in

Mine sticks over the matrix fine but you can still see the matrix. It looks pretty good.

My shop had the matrix sanded down a bit to where the tin sticks to it. Has been on for 3 months strong w no vinyl strip. I have used my rear defroster quite a bit and nothing has happened, are u not supposed to use it? 35% Front, 20% Back
