Hey guys , quick question , iv got a idle that likes to jump up and down on start up sometimes. The line that goes from the passengers side valve cover to the throttlebody gives me a surging idle but when i take that line from the valve cover neck to the neck of the intake its fine on start up. Iv blocked off the throttlebody line.

Is this going to be ok .

looks to me like you have it going to the wrong location. Hooking it up there would create a vacuum leak, that's why you have the surging.

You should try hooking it up to the port that you have blocked off, that should fix everything

In the pic it works that way, if i go and hook it up to the throttlebody that is when i get a surging idle.
