W/ Smog Pump Out..Can EGR Still Work?

I was wondering.. say someone deletes their smog pump..
Can the EGR still work? If you keep it hooked from manifold to
Vac tree on pass. side.. and the back to the EGR...but cap the other
vac line off.. Or is it all or none removed type of decsion?

good question, someone, please chime - lol my smog pump seized n i'm just gona ***** can it.... plus all of them hoses look cluttered around there lol

The EGR and the Thermactor systems are completely unrelated. Removing one does not affect the function of the other.
