Fox What is the radiator infront of the other radiator?

New to the car scene, slowly working and learning on my 93 notch. I want to replace the radiator the previous owner put on and when I took it off, I saw the other radiator lol. What is that for?

Here’s something on the subject. In other cars I’ve owned that were equipped with automatic trans, I’ve used the ac condenser as a transmission cooler where the ac was delete.

Yes it works good. Too good in colder climates. Might require the use of an inline fluid thermostat like this one. Prevents circulation of fluid through cooler until trans warms up.
