I have a chance to pick up a fresh rebuilt 1978 351w with a c6 for dirt cheap!It's alread converted to roller.So should i pick that up or convert my 360w over to roller? The thing i'm trying to do is weight it out in cost.Also my 360 is running 8.1 compression so if i pick this other 351 up with standard bore and compression how much will i loose in power going from my 360 to this 351? I figured about $40 for the retro fit roller lifter keeper kit,$125 for FRPP roller lifters,$80 for valve springs,then $200 or so for a cam? So thats roughly $450 to convert mine over. I can pick this other 351w and C6 up for $200,i'd sell the trans and the intake heads and so forth.My biggest deal is the compression tho! Like i said mine is about 8.1 and 40 over,this one is stock compression and nothing over witch should be 8 1/2to1 compression,so by putting my AFR 185 58CC heads on i would imagine it would raise it up to 9.1 or 9 1/2to1 peace
