basically i am trying to relocate my oil filter on my engine so that it is flush with the block. What i have is like a neck that protrudes from the block to the front of the engine where the fan and stuff is. (motor is a 2000 mountaineer 5.0). I need a fitting that can screw in to the block and have oil filter threads on the other side with a hex bolt mounted in the middle. I can find one that will screw into the block but does not have the right filter threads. any ideas or understand what im trying to say, if not i can try to clear it up. but i tried hardware shop and the zone, nothing yet!
