A few weeks ago I had the rest of my finger removed and had a blood vessel/ nerve removal operation done on my right hand and the other day I finally had the chance to see the results for the first time when it was unrapped to remove about 40 stiches. I was nervous as you might expect but relieved that Im making progress. Some physical therapy is upcoming and the only issue I have is the dang "phantom pain". It feels like my finger is still there,
quite weird to say the least. Anyways I hope to be healed and employed after the holidays and looking forward to a good 2008, as this whole year was a bummer

Im happy with it because before when I had the stump, Id smack it against stuff as simple as like reaching for a cup of coffee, and It was hard to even change my spark plugs. At least now I dont have to live with the fear of re-injury all the time. This all happened primarily due to injury to my blood vessels so you know what the doctor gave me to improve blood flow to rest of my hand? Viagra ! It turns out they also prescribe that stuff for all sorts of vascular problems... I aint complaining tho
