Should I drill into my new stock hood? And should i drill into new stock bumper?

Heres the situation I got in a accident back on dec 17. I got a new stock hood painted, but I had gas shocks on the previous hood and had to do some drilling to make them fit. At some point I want to get rid of this hood for a cervini's hood but I want to get as much money out of the hood as I can. Also I don't have a hood prop.

What do you think I should do?

The same deal with my front bumper i had my mach 1 chin on it but got a stock. I don't have holes drilled but I want as much as I can with the bumper. Although you really can't see the holes since they are on the underside.

What do you guys think?

Both the hood and the bumper have fresh paint.

I would definitely drill the bumper, cause I doubt anyone would care about the holes in the bottom. If they say anything, tell them to think of the weight reduction! Lol, but I dont think I would do the hood if you want to resell it. I would just buy or rig up a prop rod.

You actually had to drill through the top of the hood to mount the gas shocks? Maybe I'm not picturing this correctly.

If you're gonna sell the dang thing in the noticeable future, I'd just leave it as is and deal with it.... if its not gonna be for another year then drill that motha.

I just know that if I was looking for a stock replacement I wouldn't buy one with holes in it unless the discount was significant, like 75 bucks. Thats just me though.

I know man I was pretty confused, thinking that gas shocks really suck. My previous statement still stands though. I guess it depends on who you sell it to.
