hey guys I know this is probably a stupid question I'm sorry but I cant find out how to compress the brake pistons on the rear of my 95 cobra. I haven't tried the front yet so I don't know if they will have problems too. but does anyone know if theres a trick to this? I'm using a 6 in c clamp not directly on the piston on the old pad onto the piston and its not budging. I'm sorry if I'm missing something really easy I just don't know what to do. help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

I would highly suggest getting a shop manual for your car, it covers this job.
Also using a C clamp can damage the piston, hopefully yours are all right.

ya I found that out after calling 4 different ford places.. I ended up paying $30 for the tool when I could have probably used pliers. I drove it after that and used the e brake and it works great. the problem I'm having now is that I need to turn my front rotors and I can't get the front driverside rotor off. I still don't have a shop manual and I don't know if theres a special way or not but the passenger side came off fine. I've used map gas, wd-40 and a rubber mallet and it wont budge. any ideas?
Spray with PB-blaster, let it soak and whack the hell out of it with a dead-blow hammer.

You can try heat, but don't go too hot. You can mess up the bearings in the hub.
I'd use the PB and mallet. A dead blow transfers more energy between blows since the mallet likes to bounce back.
You took the retaining clips off the lugs right?
