I saw 2010 Mustang in the lot of a local ford dealer yesterday, they were closed so i went and checked it out i knew i wasn't gonna get the sales hassle. First thing i looked at was the interior i think it resembles a pick up truck inside the dashboard is one straight ugly dash no character seats look small too for such a big car, i like the front end change hate the back of car. IMHO:shrug: so i went home and sat in my foxbody for a half hour happy as hell!:D

Personally, I like the lines of the hood and front fenders. The interior is pretty much the same as the 05-09 to me, and I love that interior so I'm a fan. The rear end of the car looks a little off to me, but I havent seen one on the street lowered and tinted with full exhaust to really judge. In my opinion, the worst thing about the car is the 35k price tag. Affordability has been a major selling point of the pony car since 1964, and it's hard to get into an optioned out 2010 for under 40k. There is a lot of competition in that price bracket.

Love 'em. The interior is gorgeous, finally made out of high quality parts and materials and the styling is much improved over the '05-'09. If the new DOHC 5.0 "Coyote" makes it in there I'll be looking for space in the garage. :D

If i had the money i would sell my fox for a 05-09, or a 2010 in about 2.5 seconds...

WOW i trully love every aspect of my FOXBODY MUSTANG much better than 2005 to 2010 stlye mustangs by a mile i must be a true FOXBODY lover, but i do love the look of the SN years too.....but not as much as FOXBODYS, but i have no desire for newer than 2004 mustang

I like the looks of the '05-'09 Mustangs and the FRONT of the 2010's, but I don't like the way they feel inside or the way they drive - too big, too bulky, too detached feeling. The SN95's aren't as good-looking on the outside, but I like the interior feel a lot more, and they drive MUCH better than the S197's, IMO.

If they could make the interior feel less confined, the car less heavy, and do something about that hideous rear-end design, I'd like 'em. But the 2010's as the sit right now ... bleh. Do not want. :notnice:

Overall I like it. If they would just change 2 areas on the exterior of the car I would really like it.

FRONT FASCIA - From the headlights up I like it, bu tthe bottom of the front fascia on the corners has these "jowels" if you wanna call 'em that LOL! If they did a reall nice integrated chin spoiler and cleaned up the lower front and sides of the fascia it would help A TON!!!!!!!

REAR FASCIA - Again, from the tail lights up I like it. The shape of the tail lights carries the same theme-shape as the dashboard, Nice touch I think. The bottom of the bumper just looks FAT and looks as if it's dragging. Something like an under bumper support fell out and the fascia is hanging down and blowing out. Curve that thing under sharply, clean it up! Ford - don't be different just to be different - design with purpose!

Love the rear quarter side kick ups!!!:nice:

Despite what it looks like, i'd rock one as a daily driver easily. I got to sit in one a couple weeks ago. Cozy feel. I haven't driven one yet.

Heated seats, Navigation, HID's, 6-disk stereo, nice new HVAC, Sync system (anyone with an Ipod will LOVE it)...what's not to love about a new car?

As much as I love Fox mustangs, you can't beat a new car when it comes to creature comforts.

I just don't like the $35-40K price tag....so i wait 1-2 years and then buy it for $20K! ;)

I am not sure i would want to buy an '10 Mustang anyway when rumor has it the 5.0L Coyote is coming in 2011 and will be the standard GT engine.....and hopefully they fix the rear bumper too

All those '10 guys will be kicking themselves then :)

I'm betting the '10 sales are total crap....which isn't really a good thing. They should try to ramp up production of the Coyote engine and bring it as a '10 1/2 or something.

In 2005 i was dissapointed with the changes to the mustang, it's not that i dont like new cars, i was hoping the new mustang in 2005 would have had the sleek body size and lines of the 2003 SVT Cobra Terminator but knowing they were going retro i figured the SN body style would be to large for the retro look, so at first sight i thought the 2005 mustang looked massive, dam near 1972 Ford LTD size. The interior has no feel its square lost was that cockpit look of the SN or even the FOXBODY i just figured it would look sleek like a SN with retro features and much lower, and a more sporty interior. It seems all the new retro cars out there have these similiar bloated front and back ends even the new camaro except for the front end came to a point. The HP is here these days which i love but the sleek look is gone square look is in except for a Corvette. MHO:shrug:

I like them, and I think they'll sell, but I just don't see the use in buying a brand new performance car. By the time you drive it off the lot its already getting replaced by something nicer, faster, and better in the next model year. Its a beautiful thing for the industry really, but I'm happy knowing that my Fox is already beyond being considered "obsolete", and I can just focus on modifying it and making it better in my own ways.
