So, I usually post in the fox talk section. Since this relates more to this group I thought I would share. I recently started my own detailing and clear paint protection shop in Lynnwood, Washington called Benchmark Auto Salon. The car I was working on was a 2011 5.0 with 7,000 miles, and always kept outside. So, last week I had this black 5.0 come into the shop in need of some serious TLC. After further inspection I saw that there had been some contaminants that had gotten onto the clear coat and were never taken off. Since that was the case, those contaminants had actually made small impressions on the hood, roof, trunk and spoiler. To fix the problem I had to sand those four panels down with 1500grit wet dry sandpaper, then buff and polish the car for 10 hours tof bring the car back to better than new condition.
