I admire the countersinking on that piece. Very nicely machined.
The stuck screw dudes do it.

Only after they took an hour to get to the plane, went back to get tools since they didn’t bring any the first time, and took another hour to get back. The stuck screw dudes do it.

Looks like your kids have the same "roller coaster" ride toy thing (background of your pic) that my kids used to have. I cannot explain how happy I was the day we got rid of that thing.
Oh, and trans looks great too!
Great to see you still working on the 5.0! I've been so busy, I still haven't put the new motor in my 87, but I figured I'd catch up with people on here to give me some motivation.
After my first order for the flywheel got bungled up (don't ask), I have my 2nd flywheel en route.
Didn't go for the billet piece. I was convinced to save my $100 and get another stocker. Should be able to wrap up the flywheel/clutch/bell install, and mate the trans, and stuff it all in the corner and officially move onto the car.
Weather is looking good. Hardly any snow this winter and pretty warm days in the 40''s. I can probably push the car outside to give it a good powerwash in the bay before I start.
Eh, scratch that. Order cancelled. I'm still sans flywheel.
Lets try this again....
Going with the billet?
NoYeah. I’ll order the FR billet piece today.
CJ Pony Parts has them for $30 less than everyone else, but out of stock until next week.
Last time I ordered from them I had a bad experience. Do I try it again?
