Ronnie,

e-mail sent as follows:

"Dave,

I want to wish Ronnie Diaz's motor a very happy Anniversary.

In today's world, with small bussiness and the internet, good selection and low prices just won't cut it anymore. More and more Americans are looking for, and turning to, Customer satisfaction. If you can't support your Customers, they won't support you. I've found that in my business, my customers come first, and I treat them accordingly. They in turn support me very well.

Sincerly,
R. Jole"

Done deal Ronnie. That sucks man. Here is what I wrote...

Hi Dave,

Just wanted to let you know our Mustang community is pulling for your customer service efforts to complete Ronnie Diaz’ engine in the near future. Good service leads to a good spread of word of mouth.

Good Luck!

Subject: To the Birthday Boy

I would just like to wish Ronnie's $12,000 engine a happy 1st. I wish I could get the kind of vacation time his motor does after only 10 minutes of work, I'll have to bring that up to the boss. I guess he ordered from the "single malt scotch" product line, aged to perfection?

Sincerely,
G

We appreciate the response, but what is being left out is that when the project was started it was something that has never been attempted before. The pistons manufacture took nearly 3 ½ months to make the custom high compression pistons for this job. When the motor was finished, knowing that this is a full race spec motor, it was installed, and attempted to be tuned on a completely stock computer and fuel system which ended up detonating and breaking a piston. Our solution was to pay to have the motor shipped back, order new pistons, which were received only 2 weeks ago and start the process all over again at no expense to the customer. We understand that this is an unfortunate situation, but are backing our product irregardless if it was our fault or not. As for the 12,000 dollar motor, the actual cost was half of that, the remainder was product outfitting the entire vehicle. It is very unfortunate that individuals make a judgment before knowing the entire truth.
