03 Cobra vs. 03 Mach 1

I had a Mach1

Then we had a Mach1 dyno day here in Cali. I was happy as hell to get 295rwhp and 300+ rwtq. Then a black 03 Cobra got on the dyno and belted out 410rwhp and 400 rwtq with a cia and a catback thru the cats (I had an offraod on the Mach). I told my girlfriend lets go, went to the dealership and traded up for an 03 Cobra. Good and bad on both cars but complaining about the irs is just stupid. You can swap a solid read if you would like. Have you ridden on an irs car on a bumpy street? Man I drive my GFs GT and my Cobra and even with stiffer suspension my Cobra is was smoooother and the POWER!! :banana: BTW my Cobra is my daily driver (75miles daily). My fav part of the day is driving to and from work;)

They are also improving the aftermarket for the IRS all the time. But its a cheap swap for the people that are really concerned about it. Hell youd make money by selling the IRS. The cobras a better performing car no unbiased person can argue that.

Yes, I'm 32 and having my midlife crisis! I was pretty shocked that the insurance was that cheap too. Well I drove both, and I'll tell you, I was impressed with the Mach, it has some serious gitty up. BUT, the Cobra is beyond words, and those seats are as close to perfect as you can get. The clutch is really heavy, but so was my stocker in my GT. I'm picking up the Cobra this afternoon. Done deal. :banana:

You will love the Cobra! Remember that to break it in easy. I tried the hard breakin way on my Mach and it ended up having the tick. I Broke the Cobra in nice and easy and no tick. I also ran the original oil 1500 miles before I changed it. Enjoy the Cobra!
