Well i got the stang running good now, and i go to switch on the A/C it was on the defrost from earlier in the morning. And the A/C came on but the vents wouldn't change, no matter where i put the dial it only goes through the defrost vents, something has got to be stuck, because the dial still makes it A/C, and it still turns it off. Where should i look fist guys???

Also, i went to Kragen and got the "highest temp rubber hose they got" And it lasted on my EGR for about 20min before it split. Anyone know where they got theirs or where i should look. Thanks again.

Ok so the vents need vacuum lines to change their position? Does anyone know which specific vacuum line it is, ill check near the throttle body but all seems to be in order last time i looked.

Yes, they need vacum to change possitions.
there is a plug with 3 vacum lines by the tb that connect to the ac vents motor.
Anyway, try to think when the problem started and if you did some sort of maintenance near vacum lines, they might be cut or unpluged by mistake.
Once I did some maintenance in the engine bay and accidentaly disconnected those plugs, and I had air coming out of the defrost vents.
You got to ck the lines inside the car, under the passenger dash.

There is one vacuum hose on the back of the controller that goes to a vacuum motor behind the radio - what it does is change the air from defrost/feet to the dash vents. It tends to be short and when you pull the A/C-Heat control panel it pulls the connection off the vacuum motor up in the dash. If your other vacuum hoses are OK, this is what is wrong.

Check the small vac line that starts on the tree by the drivers side firewall and goes across the firewall. Heres some pics. You can see where my line broke.

Forgive me for the dirty engine compartment. :flag:

I went to AutoZone and bought a pack of different vacum line connectors and there was one just like the one in the picture. It actually had a crack about halfway around a little farther down the line too. I just cut it and spliced it with another one of those connections that were in the pack. You can see it in the pic right about where the STB is at. :nice: :flag:

WHen Mine cracked last year, about the SAME spot..I used electric tape to hold it until I got the new line. SInce mine was so close to the splicer, and there was some slack in the line....I just bought a new splicer.

THERE NEEDS TO BE A STICKY A THE TOP FOR THIS TOPIC....IT COMES UP HERE ABOUT ONCE A MONTH!!!

It comes up more often in the summer when people turn on their AC for the first time in months.

But w/ this god aweful cold crappy f'ed up summer who needs A/C up here :notnice:
