To make a long story short, I bought my C5 a few years back, bought my 03 Cobra last Feb, and bought my Ws6 a week or so ago.

I promised a few peeps back in Feb that I would post a review of my stang and vette but I was just too lazy to do so. Now that I bought my WS6, I figured I'd toss it into the mix.

2003 Cobra

Likes:

1. It's fast!!!!!

2. It blends in well and doesn't draw much attention (excluding Muscle car fans or when I decide to nail it :) )

3. I love the HP potential it has!

4. It was cheap in IMO but I've heard of people paying a lot more then I did.

5. Probably one of the most well built cars I have ever owned.

6. Seems very reliable so far!

7. In-Dash 6 disc changer :nice:

8. And I love these damn seats! They are freaking sweeet!

Dislikes:

1. The IRS left a lot to be desired............. I would have been in hog heaven if this car came with a 9" :D

2. IMO, the brakes aren't up to par.. I'm 210lbs and with a full tank the car weighs in at over 4k

3. It just doesn't handle very well... That was the first thing I noticed when I test drove a couple of them. They seemed to have a lot more body roll then I expected.

4. It has the same crapy speaker setup my 95 GT did 10 years ago.. Already has blown speaker on the front passenger side.

5. I really wanted to get full exhaust until I found out how much the labor was on the headers.... Maybe the shop quoted me high but it was even more then my friend paid on his LT1..

Over all I love the car and now it sits in my Garage and gets driven about twice a month :D

2000 WS6 T/A

Likes:

1. It looks freaking sweeeeet!!! It's my fav car in exterior stylings.

2. It brakes and handles well.

3. Solid rear axle!!!

4. Huge after-market! I had a 2000 SS Camaro 4 years ago and the after-market as 1000% smaller back then.

5. I love T-tops! And they don't leak!!!! YAY!

6. 12 speaker System with 12 disc changer!

7. It's no slouch! Ya my Cobra would take it but it wouldn't wouldn't be too far behind it.

Dislikes:

1. So far so good but F-bodies are just not very reliable... So im just kinda waiting for somethin to break

2. Very hard to see when backing up... Huge blind spot!

3. I wish it had the same transmission as the Cobra. Which is kinda funny because I used to wish my 95 GT had the same transmission as the F-body.

4. It's just not built as well as my Mustangs, Period.

I love the car, but my fav part is that damn HOOD!!!

97 C5

Likes:

1. It gets more attention and bent necks then all of the other cars put together. :spot:

2. It has the nicest interior! And the most buttons to press :D

3. It corners like its on freakin rails, and with 13.3" discs with 4 piston calipers... lets just say it will stop when you need it too.

4. Removable glass roof!

5. Adjustable ride control!

6. It's a freakin Vette! :D

Dislikes:

1. It's not the most reliable car on the road... but hey, you don't but a Vette for grocery gettin. A piece of advice though: Don't buy a Corvette unless ya got a warranty or you have a friend that is good with Vette Electronics!

2. The build quality was pretty poor. My freakin door handle fell off.. LOL

3. It just seems to have the most road noise of all three cars... I'm probably being nit-picky but its kind of irritating.

Owning a vette is kinda like owning a Harley Davidson in a sense. Yes they are spendy, and yes they break down... but you put up with it because they say Harley or Vette!

Anyways, I hope no one was offended by my review. I have been a fan of Ford and Chevs since I was a little kid and thats why I own 2 of each :D They both have their goods and bads and I am just a big fan of fast cars period. I even like some imports too! They say Porche and Lotus on them but hey, they are imports! :p

But in all seriousness, I can appriciate anything that someone has poured their heart and soul into, regardless of origin.

Very true,

All the guys on LS1tech.com said they will hold up fine as long as I don't take the car any further then low 12's. After that, stuff starts to break.

However I myself will probably never take the car to the point of breaking it ;) But even if my car had the potential of going 11's, As long as I'm sideways going down the road and my tires don't stick too much, I will be alright. :D

good review!

all three have the same transmission tho...do you mean shifter?

They are all T-56s but the Cobra T-56 is geared different.

I don't know the exact ratios but here is an example of why I like the Cobra one better:

At 65 MPH I am just over 2k RPMs in the Stang

At 65mph in the WS6 I am at 1400 RPMs....

The LS1 T-56 is great for gas milage but 6th gear is absolutely worthless.

And the shifters are all different as well :p

As to what car I like the most.... It's tough.... Probably impossible to pick :bang:

"I see", said the blind man, as he picked up his hammer and saw.
