I have been seeing more and more people on the boards here with LaFerriere Racing 302's. I've heard of the shop and seen some of their cars go pretty well. But from what you guys have had so far what do they do to a 5L to dub it a "LaFerriere Racing 302" as in how do they modify it? Also what did you guys spend? Did you bring your own heads, or ?? Do they work it all on your existing block or do they have them "built" already? Fill me in. Thanks :flag:

I had my own heads and he put together a 306 from my tired 302 motor. Got rid of a few mis matched items I had installed. Motor run very consistant and strong. Low 11's on 150 shot everytime. It's not the parts it's the attention to detail. My "very own" personal opinion is that I would recommend him to you. He is building me a competetive motor right now.

You should see how fast my Laferriere car goes!! 17 months after I dropped it off there it still doesn't run!

I'm sure there are some sort of extraordinary circumstances surrounding your comment. I've seen and talked with people who have delt with them and there are no complaints. I am dealing with them now and have nothing but great things to say.

No doubt, it's why I went to him in the first place. However, don't overlook the obvious here...nothing should take that long, not even a 1/3 of that long...EVER! The only thing extraordinary here is how much of an idiot I've been to let it go this long.
