OK here it is after all the BS that have been spewing from dealerships saying they have the GTs or will be getting them this week, Galpin Ford in So Cal is not getting any of the GTs in for another 2 weeks, might be a few days sooner than that but they say they will not have them until then. Everything you see out right now or coming out are the V6s. The GTs were delayed because they had a problem with the heads, but this was fixed. This is why they were shipped after the 6s though. For anyone who doesnt know that might be saying who cares about Galpin Ford, they are the largest Ford dealership not only in California but the world and they get cars that no one else has, and would be the first to get the GTs in because they sell more cars in one month than most dealerships do in a year. This was also confirmed by Ken Grody Ford and Mossy Ford PB in San Diego, number2 and 3 dealers in California. So I would imagine if these guys are not getting them for 2 more weeks than no one is. By the way Ken Grody has 2 V6 hidden on their lot that they are not selling yet, and if you do not have a X plan or better you will be paying top dollar for the GT's. Anyway I hope this clears up things, the rest of the dealers are just blowing smoke.

You are wrong, a number of people have seen GT's on lots.

Yeah and somehow not a single one of them can come up with a single picture of one, all of the pics posted so far are of V6s. Ive read the posts of so called GT sightings but wont believe it until I see one, but if you want to continue to believe what you read then go right ahead.

Yikes

Sam Galloway Ford in SWFL the biggest Ford dealership in florida has 10 new GT's in stock and on their lot. So before you start tootin your little horn there do some research.

Nice if he really owns it, but its not on a dealer lot and no pics of him with it, there are plenty of pics of GTs, not not for sell to us normal people yet, at least as far as Ive seen. I have pictures of GTs, but they were at shows or aftermarket car shops like Saleen and Roush, or even the one Jay Leno has. He should post a pic of him standing near him. It looks like a car an aftermarket maker has recieved or something. Since when does a car dealership allow someone to take a car home and leave the center caps in the trunk along with the antenea, or even leave the protective wrapping on it. And if he does own it he is a moron for parking it in the rain, since he apparently is the first person to own one. But all the same I hope I am wrong, it means I would be getting mine sooner than expected. I was simply reporting what I was told, trying to help out.

Oh and there are several dealers that do have a car or two but not for sell, like Rancho Santa Margerita Ford here in So Cal, they have had a red one for several months now but can not sell it until they get the other ones, they are actually selling it on Ebay for Sticker +bid, but it wont close sell for a while, because they need to wait until they get the rest. I dont care if they have them on the lots if they are not letting anyone go home with them.

So rrobello, why is this pissing you off? So what if people have seen them at different carlots around the country. I guess your inside source who heard from another inside soucre and on and on may have been miss-informed. It happens.

I am not pissed...and I didnt realize that I was spark such an outrage...sorry. I was just tired of being given the run around from dealerships and when I posted this I was trying to put some info out there. I had seen several of these pics and have seen the cars in person, but no one actually seems to have managed to drive one home yet, other than Jay Leno and I would just like to actually see someone standing in front of their new, proudly owned purchase (as would be one of my first pics taken if I had acquired mine) and not at a dealership, before I get overly excited. Thats all. Sorry to piss everyone off. And congrats to anyone who has recieved theirs.

If your just giving information, then what does it matter to you if you want a picture of somebody standing in front of their new 05' GT? It's how you replied to other people's posts (you didn't sound to informative).

Your intentions might have been good, but all your doing is just spreading more of the dealership BS that you claim to be complaining about.

Your dealerships GT's might have been delayed, they might have even been delayed for the reason your dealer claims. But to instantly make a broad generalization based on this information is incorrect.

The GT's have not been delayed because many dealerships have them. Some of these dealerships might be holding onto them for delivery to the customer(after all these are all most likely preorders) or these aren't pre-order and the dealership is holding out for mega money. The reason the dealership hasn't made delivery to a customer is pointless simply based on the fact that they have them to be sold. Which disproves the whole "only thing everyone is getting is V6's because GT are delayed"

Oh, and FYI, Brandon Ford in Tampa trades off with the Galpin for "The Largest Mustang Dealer in the World" as well as trading off with the other dealership mentioned for the "Largest Ford Dealer in FL," not to mention being the largest Roush dealer in the World (bought all 40 of the Roush 440A's), and they are getting the '05's on Saturday. Therefore, it seems as if there is no method to the madness. Some dealerships just happened to get them before even the big guns did. Who knows why? Thats just the way it is.... things will never be the saaaaaaaame. Thats just the way it is. Ah yeah.
