I hope that many people will reply to this. I ask this to everyone, not just people with aftermarket tint jobs. What is your favorite percentage tint for mustangs. I'm just wondering what the average percentage is. Thanks.

I've got 5% all the way around on mine as well; i've always been a fan of a dark tint job on mustangs. Just roll your windows down if you see a 5.0, I haven't had troubles yet.

35% all over...

little off topic but the rear tint on my car has becone REALLY blurry and no tint shop is willing to touch it beacuse of the defroster..does anyone know a shop around the SF bay area that will take it off... BTW my tint was 5% rear and sides...
JUst use windex an s.o.s pad. It will not scratch your glass. Do not use razor blades on the rear or you will damage the defroster

hows everyones with tint window comeout where dot matrix on top of window?
I want to tint window, but i havent yet to see any job i liked on rear window

Any tint shop worth a **** can easily make the tint stick to the dot matrix with a little time. I'm an amateur tinter, done 20 tint jobs or so.. and even I can do it (did a Chevy Beretta rear window w/ dot matrix in one piece.)

If anyone tells you to "spray paint it" or "sand the dot matrix down," find another tint shop.

Do research online for the method which uses a garbage bag, and some solvent which you allow to bake in the sun for a few hours. It'll peel the entire tint piece off. Then get yourself a bottle of Xylol from your local Home Depot or Lowes, and use that liberally with some paper towel to get the glue off.

Have any of you been pulled over for your tint? I see Hondas all the time with limo tint and I wish they would get pulled over, but have any of you had problems with your tint. I'm thinking about going between 10% and 35% or some mix of or in between. Think there will be any problems?
