Well those are some the photos we took yesterday. I got a total of like 250.
It was pretty neat to see and hear these machines in person. We sat by the straight and the Mustangs just dusted the BMWs and Porsches from the beginning the m3 did have a good run in the mid laps.

CONGRATULATIONS to Ford for being so SUCCESSFUL on the circuit!!
This unfortunately has NOTHING to do with the comparisons of a PORSCHE BMW and a MUSTANG.
Want to compare the cars? THEN GO OUT AND DRIVE THEM!!
I owned 2 Porsches and an M3 and unlike most people discussing these comparisons I have owned these cars. My Mustang is a GREAT CAR but trust me it can't hold a candle to any Porsche or M3 Bimmer PERIOD.
It would nice nice to discuss these issues with prior M3 owners and Porsche owners since trying to explain the differences between the cars to people who have never driven them is difficult to say the least.
 
Hey Con man did you read what the topic was about Grand Am racing at Laguna Seca. The M3, Porsches got beat by a real race car on a real race
track. Now as far as everyday driving the BMW m3 and Porches are very pricey vehicles and I would expect to get more out of them everyday. I have driven both cars my father had an 87 Carrera and an 91 8 series. I think your gripe belongs on another board or forum.
 
Whos griping? I congratulate Ford on ALL ASPECTS of building this new platform. What better compliment than to BUY the car? Ford finally built something that people like myself would purchase. I am simply pointing out that as good as the Mustang is its NEVER going to compare to cars like Porsches, M3s, Z06's S4's etc. I remain lucid enough to realize the Mustang for what it is. A GREAT BARGAIN GT. Plenty of power, great looks etc. When it comes to handling the car suffers but what do you expect at that price. When people actually think that a 25K Ford is superior to some of Stuttgarts finest there is a reality problem in the thought process.
 
The stock looking #05 car was the fastest car out there. When we where in the paddocks after qualifying I was trying to get a glimpse of the engine mods. The engineers had the car pointed towards the back of the tent. The 05 ran a 1:48lap time that was the best time during the race. Laguna has plenty of turns and the 05 stang handled them well.
