What colors would you like to see Ford introduce on the S197 ?

OK, so most of us have now seen the S197 in all of its '05 color palette offerings - - - some of us have even gone so far as to vote with our wallets.

And I think that everyone has seen the threads on the new '06 colors (with Vista Blue, Colorado Red, Tungsten, etc).

Everyone has that one color that hasn't as of yet been bestowed on our beloved S197 Mustang - mine happens to be Acapulco Blue/Hulla Blue from the late 60's/70 line up.

What would y'all like to see - Grabber colors - retro colors - chameleon/color shift ? Perhaps Highland/Bullitt Green ?

COLORADO RED? I thought I followed things pretty closely, but haven't seen this one. Is there a link where you can see it? Is it replacing either Torch Red or Redfire? I can't imagine them having three reds.

As far as retro colors.... To me the Legend Lime and Windveil Blue look kind of retro to me. I remember some early years had a kind of silver-blue similar to the WV Blue. Long as they don't bring back that powder blue they once had.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Colorado Red is another name for Torch Red

Those are all over eBay.

I think that an orange color would look great on the new Mustangs. If they do plan on coming out with the Boss as a specialty Mustang then I suggest they save orange for that for obvious reasons.

Highland Green is a must have at some point in time!

Acapulco blue would look great in a Cal-Special edition!

Before considering an 05 I test drove a competition orange 04 and loved that color. If they would have had that color I think it would have been a no brainer. I wouldnt know how it would look though. Comp. Orange with black stripes would be my vote

Colorado Red is Torch Red, just a different name. I have Torch Red, but the dealer referred to it on his report as Colorado Red.

my focus is a color called twilight blue that i LOVE! it's a REALLY dark, deep blue. when that car is polished up i get a million and one compliments on her. i'd love to get a mustang in the same color to make a matching set.

that being said, a competition orange s197 would be sweet as well. i just wouldn't drive it for the same reason i wouldn't drive a yellow. it draw too much attention, esp. from the cops.

I'd like to see them offer the 1968 Highland Green (Bullitt) and the original 1965 Poppy red colors.
